How to think in Graphs

The circles are now named vertex/node
The lines are now named edge

Now, degree of vertex means how many edges are connected to a vertex.

Directed Graph have an arrow pointing at vertices

Undirected Graph doesn't have any arrows pointing at vertices.

whenever you see a tree (even if it is an apple tree, lemon tree or binary search tree), you can be sure that it is also a graph.
